This two-day course focuses on securing
network environments. Learn how a network analyzer can protect against internal
and external security
threats.
Objectives

Secure and
troubleshoot LAN environments
- Identify vulnerabilities, verify signatures, and
analyze trace files with a focus on network security
- Learn how packets are
formed to deliver information to the intended destination
- Use significant bits
and bytes in protocol headers to identify network intrusions
- Understand
different methods of network penetration, analyze trace files for erroneous
conditions, and correct or block them
